Commercial Electrician Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial electrical and lighting systems

  • Pull wire, install and bend EMT and rigid conduit, and run panel feeders

  • Terminate panels, switchgear, and branch circuits to spec

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams

  • Test and inspect circuits, control wiring, and equipment for code compliance

  • Follow lockout/tagout and safety protocols on every job

Commercial Electrician Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on commercial electrical experience

  • Confidence with conduit work, wire pulls, and circuit troubleshooting

  • Comfort working with 120V through 480V systems

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Own hand tools and PPE
