Job description

Job Overview:

Josko Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician specialized in multi-family and residential services to join our team in Apopka, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical systems, maintenance, and repair, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the multi-family housing sector. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in multi-family and residential install repairs according to local codes and safety standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions promptly. 
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless coordination of electrical work within multi-family residential projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to effectively execute electrical tasks.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations while maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven service experience in electrical work, specifically in multi-family residential settings.
  • Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and components relevant to multi-family housing.
  • Journeyman electrician's license in the state of practice.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to upholding safety standards and ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and working in various conditions. Willing to work overtime, on weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications or training in electrical systems or related fields.
  • Experience with low-voltage systems or renewable energy solutions.
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient electrical practices for multi-family residences.
