Job Posting for Electrical Engineer at Complete Logistical Services

Job Description

Complete Logistical Services is excited to announce an opening for a Project Electrical Engineer. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to engage in diverse engineering challenges, providing robust solutions in our operational sectors. As a key member of our engineering team, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of complex power and control systems tailored specifically for unique underwater robotic and electromechanical systems. This career opportunity is perfect for individuals eager to work on groundbreaking projects and contribute to solving some of the toughest challenges faced by our customers, predominantly within the US Navy and other US Government Department of Defense entities.

It is important to note that this is not a remote position. The role requires a hands-on approach where the engineer will not only design but also actively participate in building and testing the systems. The position is designed to ensure continuous professional growth and exposure to new technologies and systems in a dynamic, global enterprise.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead significant portions of electrical and control system design for individual projects, potentially supervising small teams of senior and junior electrical engineers.
  • Generate comprehensive designs from high-level, incomplete requirements for systems or subsystems of moderate complexity, under minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit excellent technical judgement, creativity, and initiative, maintaining a meticulous attention to detail and a broad system perspective.
  • Prepare for and actively participate in regular design reviews, ensuring robust, dependable design output.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and systems engineers, as well as other relevant disciplines, to architect fully functional systems.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers or technicians when necessary, fostering a constructive and educational work environment.
  • Take responsibility for your own work results, functioning with considerable autonomy and recognizing when collaboration or guidance is needed.
  • Continuously expand your professional skills, expertise, and responsibilities, embracing opportunities to tackle new challenges.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or advanced degree from an accredited university in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field with an Electrical concentration, such as Computer Engineering or Robotics Engineering. Significant experience may be considered in lieu of specific educational qualifications.
  • Minimum 7 years of practical technical experience in the creative engineering process, encompassing concept, analysis, simulation, design, integration, and testing of complex electrical and electromechanical systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Government Department of Defense Security Clearance; active clearances are preferred but not a prerequisite.
  • Must be a US citizen, as many of our projects involve direct contracts with the US Government and access to sensitive information.
