Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Echo Tech who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Registered Echo Tech you will:
• Prepares for examinations by checking equipment and inventorying and restocking supplies
• Answering patient questions about examination
• Prepares patients by positioning patient; attaching electrodes to chest and equipment; and adjusting equipment controls
• Records examination information by printing graphics and data
• Protects patients by adhering to safety policies and protocols
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
• Recognize abnormal EKG patterns and alert physicians and appropriate staff as needed.
Qualified candidates will possess:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited cardiac ultrasound program preferred
• 1 year scanning experience preferred
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• RDMS certification within one year of hire preferred
• RDMS or CCI strongly preferred
Work Schedule:
This is a per diem position with a rate of $45/hour.
