Both roles require a CDL and involve similar work environments within the bulk transport industry.

Is 0.55 a mile good for a truck driver?

For a weekend dry bulk driver, paying $0.55 per mile is generally below the industry average, which typically ranges from $0.50 to $0.75 per mile depending on experience, region, and company policies. Factors such as load type, route complexity, and safety requirements can also influence pay rates, so drivers should consider these when evaluating compensation. It's important to compare offers and consider total compensation, including benefits and bonuses, for a complete assessment.

What company in Texas is paying truckers $14000 a week?

There are no widely verified companies offering weekend dry bulk driver positions that pay $14,000 per week.
