Regional Class A CDL Driver (1099) – Weekends Off

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor. You will enjoy a dedicated regional route with guaranteed weekends off. This role involves operating a tractor-trailer (26,000+ GVW) to transport temperature-sensitive and high-priority freight, including essential food products and medical supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned regional routes.
  • Transport refrigerated food products and medical supplies while maintaining strict delivery and temperature standards.
  • Load and unload freight as needed (varies by specific route).
  • Maintain accurate logs, ELD entries, and delivery documentation.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or equipment issues.
  • Strictly follow all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
