Job description
- Loads are delivering home improvement, agriculture, and lawn and garden maintenance products from vendors to the DC and from the DC to stores.
- Loads are preloaded at the DC.
- Deliveries are live unload at the stores. They are set delivery appointments at 5am. (Avg unload time 60-90 mins)
- For store deliveries, drivers cannot be in the cab during the unloading process. This is a safety requirement.
- Drivers will run in DE, VA, WV, PA, MD, NJ, and NY (no NYC).
- Mostly very early morning driving.
- No touch freight.
- 50% drop and hook.
- May need to sweep out trailers. Empty trailers must be cleaned out before dropping at the DC.
