American Driver is hiring CDL A drivers in Pensacola, FL. Pensacola sits on I-10 in the western Panhandle — a strong base for drivers looking to run Eastern OTR lanes out of one of Florida's most active freight corridors connecting the Gulf Coast to the Southeast.

If you have your Class A CDL and are ready to start building a career in trucking, this position comes with fully paid training and consistent miles after you go solo.

Training:

  • 4–6 weeks with a dedicated mentor, fully paid
  • Live freight from day one — real loads, real routes
  • ELD, HOS, pre/post trip inspections covered in detail
  • Weekly pay throughout the entire program
  • Solo transition at $0.56 CPM after completion

What the Job Looks Like:

  • Dry van, no-touch freight
  • Around 60% drop and hook
  • 2,200–2,500 miles per week
  • Eastern routes with consistent year-round freight
  • Day and night dispatch depending on load

Pay:

  • $0.56–$0.65 CPM based on experience
  • Weekly earnings typically $1,200–$1,500
  • Extra pay for stops, layovers, and breakdowns
  • Six-month pay increase
  • $300 paid orientation
  • Weekly direct deposit

Home Time:

  • Planned home reset every two weeks

  • Assigned Freightliner or Kenworth (2022–2025)
