Regional Truck CLASS A Driver – Southeast Routes

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Regional Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight throughout the Southeastern United States, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. This position offers consistent Southeast regional routes with weekends off, providing a great balance between a rewarding transportation career and time at home.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks on regional routes throughout the Southeast United States, adhering strictly to FMCSA and DOT regulations.
  • Transport freight safely and efficiently between designated Southeast locations while meeting scheduled delivery times.
  • Load and unload freight using proper manual handling techniques and ensure all cargo is properly secured for transit.
  • Navigate regional routes efficiently using GPS and other navigation systems.
  • Transport various types of cargo, including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, hazardous materials, and other regulated freight as required.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, inspections, and other required documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules, route changes, and potential delays.
  • Follow all company safety policies, cargo securement requirements, and applicable hazardous materials regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle and work environment.
  • Operate exclusively on Southeast regional routes, with scheduled home time and Saturdays and Sundays off.

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) CLASS (A) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience operating commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and regional delivery routes.
  • Experience with or familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other commercial equipment.
  • Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, hazardous materials regulations, and cargo securement standards.
  • Experience with manual-transmission trucks preferred.
  • Ability to safely load, unload, and secure various types of freight.
  • Strong navigation and route-planning skills using GPS systems.
  • Excellent driving skills with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Dependable, professional, and punctual work ethic.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and management.
