Position Summary

The Transport Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely transportation and delivery of refined petroleum products to 24/7 Travel Store locations. Drivers are responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading fuel while complying with all DOT, FMCSA, Hazmat, environmental, and company safety requirements.

This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and personal responsibility. Drivers are expected to protect company equipment and product, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with store personnel and the transportation team.

Essential Job Functions

  • Safely Transport and Deliver Petroleum Products
  • Safely Load and Unload Fuel Products
  • Inspect and Maintain Commercial Equipment
  • Maintain DOT and Regulatory Compliance
  • Promote Safety, Accuracy, and Professionalism
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required.
  • Acceptable driving record required.
  • Experience operating commercial tanker equipment preferred.
  • Experience hauling liquid products preferred; refined petroleum experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, Hazmat, and commercial vehicle safety requirements.
  • Strong commitment to safe driving and safe fuel handling practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete required documentation.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of loading and unloading fuel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

This position is based in WaKeeney, Kansas.

Drivers are home daily with no scheduled overnight routes.
