  • Maintain field notes, photo documentation, control logs, and deliverable checklists

Data Processing & Deliverables
  • Download, organize, and process field data
  • Support QA/QC by checking closures, residuals, control networks, and tolerances
  • Prepare clear field summaries and assist with technical reporting

Safety, Client Support & Coordination
  • Work safely in active industrial environments (mills, plants, refineries)
  • Follow DLZ and client safety programs, JHAs, and site requirements
  • Communicate field constraints, risks, and changes to Project Managers
  • Support and mentor junior technicians on equipment use, QA habits, and safe work practices

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial survey, dimensional control, precision alignment, or metrology
  • Proven experience operating survey and metrology instrumentation in the field
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, tolerances, and specifications

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to industrial job sites

Preferred Technology & Equipment Experience with combination of:

  • Spatial Analyzer, PolyWorks, CAM, or similar metrology software
  • AutoCAD / Civil 3D or related CAD platforms

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Work performed in active industrial facilities with exposure to noise, heights, weather, uneven terrain, and PPE requirements
