Job description

DevOps Engineer

Moving towards more and more DevOps technologies. A lot of additional work being added. Will be a part of DevOps team, doing deployments and configuration management.

Tech skills: Needs to have strong scripting exp: Bash, Jenkins and Python. Needs to be able to troubleshoot existing DevOps pipelines. Will be responsible for deploying applications daily, weekly and sometimes on the weekends for production. So will need to be available on some weekends and some early mornings... The apps are mostly Java based (spring, Kubernetes, gradle, GIT) so this exp is required.. AWS exp is preference...

In nut shell: DevOps Engineer with strong exp w/ deployments and configuration management, but needs to also be able to troubleshoot issues with pipelines and work with internal and external teams so needs strong comm skills. Will not just be focused on his/her deployments but will need to be involved in the entire deployment life cycle so will need to work with Devs, DBAs, Analysts, etc to figure things out.
