Job description

DESIGN CONSULTANT

Full-Time | Vancouver, BC | 100% Commission 7% of Written Sales | Expected Annual Earnings: $65,000$75,000+

Do you love sales, design, and building relationships with customers?

At EQ3, the Design Consultant role combines sales, customer experience, and design. You'll help customers create spaces that reflect how they live while building your own client relationships and earning potential.

Your sales experience matters more than your design experience. You don't need to be an interior designer or have furniture industry experience to succeed with us. If you know how to sell, build trust with customers, and are motivated by results, we'll help you develop your knowledge of our products, materials, and collections.

You'll join our Vancouver team at 3355 Grandview Highway in a full-time position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Build meaningful relationships with customers and guide them throughout their buying experience
  • Understand their needs, style, and space to recommend the right solutions
  • Advise customers on furniture, materials, colours, and configurations
  • Develop strong knowledge of our collections and products
  • Follow up with customers and build long-term client relationships
  • Develop your client base and identify new sales opportunities
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets
  • Collaborate with your team to deliver an exceptional EQ3 experience
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED
  • Experience in sales, retail, or another customer-focused environment
  • A strong sales and results-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence working in a fully commission-based sales environment
  • Initiative, accountability, and an entrepreneurial approach
  • An interest in modern design and quality products
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Experience in furniture or interior design is an asset, but it is not required. Your sales experience may come from retail, fashion, automotive, telecommunications, hospitality, luxury goods, or another customer-focused sales environment.

LIFE AT EQ3
  • Training on our products, materials, and collections
  • Employee product discount program
  • Wellness programs, group banking services, and more
  • Paid time off and flexibility supporting work-life balance
  • Professional learning and development opportunities
  • A collaborative team that values performance, growth, and recognition

At EQ3, we believe good design should last. Our Design for Life philosophy reflects our commitment to authentic modern design, quality products, and furniture made to be enjoyed for years to come.

Are you a strong salesperson who enjoys building relationships and wants your results to directly impact your earning potential? We'd love to meet you.

Apply today and build your sales career with EQ3.

CLOSING DATE: Open until filled.

We thank all interested individuals; only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
