The Dental Assistant plays a vital role within the Angel Dental Care team. The Dental Assistant
works chair-side with the practitioners to ensure a positive experience for the patient while
delivering on Angel Dental Careโs commitment to exceptional customer service. The Dental
Assistant supports the clinical treatment care of patients. Dental Assistant should possess a
friendly, professional outgoing demeanor and excellent organizational skills.ย
Duties and Responsibilities:
๏ท Provide chair-side assistance for provider during dental procedures
๏ท Charting and taking x-rays that are diagnostic and appropriate to the series prescribed
๏ท Review dental records with patients, providing instruction on postoperative procedures
๏ท Take vital signs (blood pressure and heart rate) on every patient when seated
๏ท Support Practice Manager and clinical team with assigned tasks
๏ท Friendly positive demeanor at all times
๏ท Organize and maintain lab cases
๏ท Perform various office tasks as necessary.
๏ท Prepare and breakdown operatory and equipment prior to and between each patient
visit
๏ท Ensure all OSHA/Infection Control and Dental Board policies and procedures are
properly followed.ย
๏ท Ability to work in fast pace environment while maintaining a positive attitude
๏ท Ability to make temporary crown/bridges
๏ท Be willing to work flexible shifts
๏ท Current Radiology Certification
๏ท Maintain annual OHSA, HIPPA and infection control training as required by law
