Job Summary:

BMH Delivery LLC is seeking motivated individuals, who are reliable, quick learning, and team players to join us as Delivery Drivers. As a Delivery Driver, you will drive safe and comfortable delivery vans using the latest technology to deliver Amazon packages. Delivery Drivers will be servicing customers in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. Successful drivers put safety as a priority as they strive to achieve customer expectations and satisfaction. An average day consists of 10 to 12 hours driving with frequent stops for deliveries. Efficiency, safety, and hard work can present opportunities for growth and advancement in the company. This role will start as soon as the onboarding process is complete. The onboarding process can take about 1 -3 weeks from the time of the job offer being made.

Responsibilities:

  • - Safely and timely delivery of packages to customers- Lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds- Follow routes and time schedules- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving the delivery vans- Courteous and friendly contact with customers.

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

- Lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds

- Follow written and verbal instructions

- Drive safely and efficiently to complete a delivery route in the allowed time.

- Available for increased workload and or overtime during the peak season

- Must be a team player and help the team when needed
