Full Job Description:
We have an immediate opening for a highly skilled & motivated semi Local Class A Driver to join our team, that would like to work a day shift, no weekend delivery job.
Position Overview:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a tractor/trailer combination utilizing flat beds to deliver various stone slabs to customer locations. NO TARP
  • The ideal candidate shall have a clean MVR, be able to read and write in the English language proficiently, be professional in appearance, registered with the clearinghouse, and have a proven track record in delivering products in a safe & timely manner.
  • This a semi local delivery driving position that may require up to 2 one night - overnight trips per month

Job Details:
  • Drive and operate trucks delivering Stone Slabs safely to various destinations.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and post trip inspections daily..
  • Adhere to company safety standards.
  • Follow all local, state, & federal traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure that all paperwork is complete and correct.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
  • Report any accidents, violations, or mechanical issues to the appropriate parties.
  • This is a full-time, 40/hr per week position.

Requirements:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial truck driver.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of FMCSA guidlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
