Weekend DBAs typically work part-time or as part of a rotating shift to support critical systems without disrupting weekday operations.

This role requires staying proactive to prevent downtime during periods when most full-time staff are unavailable. The unique schedule can also offer valuable experience in crisis management and improve your skills in handling high-pressure situations.
