Confido

New York, NY • On-site

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, PTO

Re-posted 7 days ago

Job description

Confido is the AI infrastructure powering modern CPG — the platform that 200+ brands like OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Dr. Squatch, and Tropicana use to run everything from deductions to production planning. Finance, accounting, sales, and operations, unified in one system for the first time.

We're growing 5x year over year and recently raised a $15M Series A led by Footwork and Y Combinator. We're a small, in-person team in New York City, which means the people who join now shape the product, the culture, and the company itself.

If you want your work on shelves everywhere — and outsized ownership while you build — we'd love to meet you.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will build the analytics layer that helps both Confido and our customers understand their financial and operational data. You’ll design dashboards, develop core metrics, and surface insights that drive decision-making across the platform.

This is a foundational role where you’ll help shape Confido’s data culture and establish how analytics are delivered internally and to customers.

Location: New York, NY (Relocation supported)

What You'll Do

  • Partner with product, engineering, and customers to understand analytics needs

  • Design and build dashboards, reports, and analytical tools for internal and external users

  • Write complex SQL queries to analyze large-scale financial and operational datasets

  • Define and maintain key business metrics and KPIs

  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within retailer and financial data

  • Drive analytical projects from exploration through delivery

  • Collaborate with engineers to improve data models and underlying datasets

Example Problems

  • Building custom dashboards for brands to understand retailer performance

  • Analyzing deduction and dispute data to identify operational inefficiencies

  • Designing analytics that help brands forecast sales and demand

  • Combining and transforming data into clean, analysis-ready datasets that power actionable insights

  • Turning complex financial data into intuitive visual insights

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis or analytics roles

  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets

  • Strong experience building dashboards and analytical reports

  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations

  • Strong communication skills working with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience with BI tools (Omni, Looker, Mode, etc.)

  • Experience working with financial, retail, or operational datasets

  • Comfort working directly with users

  • Interest in early-stage startups and high-ownership roles

  • Technical or quantitative degree

Perks + Benefits

  • Equity — own a piece of what you're building

  • Fully paid health coverage with Aetna (we cover 100% of premiums)

  • Top-tier dental and vision through Guardian

  • 12 weeks paid parental leave

  • Unlimited PTO, plus regular 4-day holiday weekends we actually take

  • 401(k) through Vestwell

  • Paid relocation — we'll get you here

  • Full desk setup on day one (laptop, monitor, keyboard) + a $200 stipend to make it yours

  • Catered Friday lunches, team dinners on us, and unlimited coffee + snacks featuring our own brands
