The Charles E. Brown Cultural Center (CEBCC) Student Assistant is responsible for promoting positive identification, association, and relationship tothe historical and contemporary cultures included within the cultural center portfolio. Job Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Front desk and clerical duties (i.e. copying, filing, delivering information to other university departments, answering telephones, word processing, data entry) etc.
  • May develop and monitor programs designed to promote the CEBCC to on and off-campus stakeholders.
  • Conduct tours of the Charles E. Brown Cultural Center.
  • Assist in conducting formal assessment of all CEBCC programs and prepare projects.
  • Complete and submit appropriate reports, detailing workshops and programs sponsored out of the CEBCC.
  • Attend, participate in and assist with the program and services of the Charles E. Brown Cultural Center (CEBCC) as needed.
  • Attend and participate in ongoing projects and CEBCC staff meetings with the Director, monthly in-service programs, and bi-semester retreats.
  • Maintain confidentiality of students' records and files.
  • Set up and tear down rooms for meetings and/or presentations held at the CEBCC.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Evening and some weekend duties required.
