Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Member Associate who is able to close the clubs during the week to join our team. As a Member Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our members, helping them with their fitness needs, providing excellent customer service, and assisting in day-to-day operations. This role is perfect for someone who loves fitness, enjoys interacting with people, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You would be responsible for the closing shifts during the week which is typically 5pm-10pm

The Front Desk Associate will be the first point of contact for our members and guests.

  • Welcome members and guests, ensuring a positive first impression of our gym.
  • Manage member check-ins and guest registrations.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails, addressing inquiries and providing information about our gym services and programs.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Help in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the reception area and gym facilities.
  • Assist in managing gym schedules, including class and personal training appointments.
  • Provide excellent customer service, handling complaints and concerns with professionalism.
  • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, inventory, and record-keeping.
  • Promote gym programs, classes, and retail products to members and guests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.ย 

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and gym management software.
  • Ability to handle difficult customers with patience and professionalism.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • A passion for fitness and health is a plus.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service or reception experience, preferably in a gym or fitness center.
