Summary Description:

As a Resort Custodian at Seabrook Hospitality, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our resort facilities. Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance activities such as sweeping, yard work, removing garbage, hot tub maintenance, window washing, pressure washing.

  • Ensuring all homes are cared for and inspected according to standards.

  • Protecting equipment and supply carts and making sure there are no inadequacies.

  • Assist maintenance techs with minor repairs and upkeep tasks as needed to ensure the proper functioning of resort facilities and equipment.

  • Notify supervisors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.

  • Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.

  • Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace them when appropriate.

  • Records data concerning work assignments, personnel actions, and time cards.

  • Collaborate with other resort staff members to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure efficient operations.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and policies to maintain a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong customer service, time management, and prioritization skills. Able to prioritize and act with a sense of urgency.

  • Ability to work in a progressive, fast-paced environment (work well under pressure).

  • Ability to manage a large volume of daily tasks.

  • Work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in hospitality or property management.

  • Valid State issued Driver's License & State Minimum insurance are required. Maintaining these requirements will be verified periodically during employment.

Physical Requirements (including but not limited to):

  • Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess distance, color, and depth

  • Required to regularly communicate with others and exchange accurate information.

  • Frequently move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds.

  • Must be able to work within different temperature changes, indoors to outdoors; moving between buildings and working around moving equipment/machines; occasionally ascend/descend a ladder or stairs as required, stooping /bending, pushing/pulling.

  • Ability to work overhead and at heights up to and occasionally exceeding 40 feet.

  • Occasional exposure to moving objects and other machines in operation.

  • Occasionally exposed to dust, gas/fumes, airborne particles, extreme heat or cold, electric shock, vibration, chemicals, and noise.

  • Daily local travel to, from, and in between job sites.

Employment Status: Seasonal Full Time
