Detail-Oriented Role with Training and Growth Opportunity

Quality Enclosures, Inc., the Northeast’s leading manufacturer of custom shower enclosures and flat glass products, is growing and looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Order Entry Associate to join our team in Central Islip, NY.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys careful, accurate work; is a strong typist; communicates clearly; and has the focus to enter important customer information correctly the first time. You do not need glass or shower door experience to be successful — we provide training — but you should be comfortable using computers, learning new systems, and working with product details, measurements, and order information.

What You’ll Do

As an Order Entry Associate, you will help turn customer quotes and orders into accurate information that our engineering, production, and delivery teams can use. Your work will play an important role in keeping customer orders moving smoothly and correctly.

Responsibilities include:

• Enter customer quotes and orders into our system accurately and efficiently
• Review order information for accuracy, completeness, and missing details
• Type and process customer information with a high level of care and consistency
• Communicate with customers by phone and email to clarify order details
• Work closely with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Production teams
• Learn our products, order process, and internal systems
• Follow established procedures while helping identify ways to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Help ensure orders move smoothly from entry to production

• Good communication skills by phone and email
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems
• Ability to follow procedures and ask good questions when information is unclear
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and pride in doing quality work
• Prior experience in order entry, data entry, customer service, administration, inside sales support, manufacturing, construction, or a technical office environment is helpful but not required
