Job description

Receptionist / Data Entry Associate

We are a Phoenix-based geotechnical engineering firm that conducts geotechnical engineering investigations, course of construction materials testing / observation services and environmental consulting services for several market segments such as cell towers, commercial, industrial, retail, educational facilities, hospitals, churches, custom homes, assisted living care facilities, etc.

We are seeking a data entry administrative assistant for the following responsibilities:

  1. ·Extremely busy phones - must be comfortable answering phones and helping clients over the phone, and transferring calls to or giving messages to colleagues
  2. · Data entry - 50 wpm at least (raw data to include hand-written field test results - will be trained in all areas)
  3. · Complete highly detailed daily call out sheets for scheduling of materials testing project tasks over the phone (to help build field technical schedule)
  4. · Skills in multi-tasking very helpful

Requirements & Skills:

  1. · Minimum one (1) year experience
  2. · Full-time position, must be available to work 40 hours per week
  3. · Professionalism when dealing with customers and coworkers
  4. · Willingness to learn and take direction
  5. · Maintain positive attitude to help team morale
  6. · Proficiency with MS Excel & MS Word
  7. · Confident communications skills on the phone and in person. Proper phone etiquette and message taking ability needed
  8. · Team oriented work-ethic, as a flexible team player
  9. · Ability to self-start

Benefits & Compensation:

· $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (depending upon experience)
