Heavy Truck and Diesel Technicians
As a Technician / Mechanic you will support engineering during testing activities. Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations, and support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection.
Technician / Mechanic
  • Min. 5 years of truck service or Heavy Duty Truck Education Diploma
  • Good understanding of HVAC Systems
  • Basic understanding or knowledge of Truck systems (steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, engine, transmission, drivability/handling, emissions)
  • Heavy duty diesel diagnostics is a plus
  • Must have own tools
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Identify different types of instrumentation, understand application, and understand function
  • Support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection during testing activities.
  • Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations
  • Must have basic PC skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Perform vehicle retrofits including custom installations to prepare vehicles for test.
  • Routine maintenance and inspections on class 8 vehicles
  • Programming and troubleshooting of vehicle systems using service tool
  • ASE a plus
  • CDL a plus

Job Requirements
Standard shift is Mon - Fri 7:00 4:00.
Certain jobs and tests may require weekend support.
  • Good understanding of HVAC Systems
