Summary:
Maryville University is searching for a new analyst to help oversee functions our state-of-the-art Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CCOE). This person will work under our CCOE Lab Manager who will provide leadership by engaging students through a robust experiential learning program that develops and allows them to practice their cybersecurity, technical, and business administration skills. The ideal candidate will build the pool of community partners and the appropriate array of cybersecurity services needed to support those partners and facilitate educational outreach and the promotion of technical programs to meet the objectives of the College of Business & Technology and the University. The candidate must be committed to fostering a positive, culturally diverse atmosphere for faculty, staff and students.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain CCOE labs, equipment, machines, and software.
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor technical and software issues in the CCOE.
  • Manage and maintain computer lab technologies in partnership with IT Department
  • Curriculum Support
  • Test virtual labs, offer suggestions for improvement when needed
  • Assist with cybersecurity research and participate in professional communities of practice.
  • Help to create new labs, experiments, hands-on learning opportunities.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity tutoring preparation sessions
  • Instruct students and faculty in the use of equipment in the CCOE
  • Coordinate CCOE and Maryville Cyber Speaker Series Cultivate additional community clients and build tiered service packages for these clients.
  • Youth Cyber Safety Workshop development and implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Management Information
  • Systems, Computer Science, or enrolled in a related discipline
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Detail oriented
