Cyber Warfare Engineer
The Opportunity:
Provide technical expertise and guidance on the cybersecurity aspects of weapon systems and space systems. Work closely with other Booz Allen programs and stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber threats and vulnerabilities affecting mission success in all warfighting domains. Support the development and implementation of cybersecurity solutions, mitigations, and best practices for weapon and space systems. Conduct cyber threat analysis and mission-based cyber risk assessments for weapon and space systems. Provide cybersecurity recommendations and solutions for weapon and space systems, based on industry standards and best practices. Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including procedures, plans, reports, and briefings. Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external partners, including across Booz Allen, other government agencies, industry, and academia, on cybersecurity issues and initiatives related to weapon and space systems. Provide cybersecurity training and awareness for clients and other stakeholders. Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats in all warfighting domains. Conduct testing and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and potential threat vectors into systems and networks, develop exploits, and engineer attack met hodologies. Apply advanced advising skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity including penetration testing, cyber red teaming, and OT or Embedded Systems cybersecurity
  • Experience with complex systems and operations such as enterprise IT, OT, or Embedded systems
  • Knowledge of cyber threat actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures, and their implications for weapon and space systems and operations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Cybersecurity Certification such as Security+, and CPTS, PenTest+, or OSCP Certification

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with weapon systems and operations, including their architecture, functions, and vulnerabilities
  • Experience with cybersecurity in weapon systems
  • Experience working with a space defense team or government agencies on cybersecurity issues and initiatives related to space systems and operations
  • Experience developing and delivering cybersecurity training and awareness for space defense personnel and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Zero T rus t and artifi cia l intelligence
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
