Registered Nurse – Progressive Care

Schedule: Ratios: 1:5 (days/nights/weekends) Weekend requirement: Minimum 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (combination Fri/Sat/Sun)

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per week

Requirements: License: Missouri or Compact nursing license required Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Preferred Certification: ACLS Experience: 1–2 years RN experience

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients in a progressive care unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry and cardiac monitoring. Recognize and manage sepsis, stroke, renal failure, and other acute medical conditions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Administer IV therapy, including central line care and blood product administration. Educate patients and families regarding their conditions and care plans.
