Job description

Customer Success Associate – Aerospace & Defense

Build what powers tomorrow—join Intervala, where advanced electronics manufacturing meets innovation, precision, and purpose.

Intervala is seeking a Customer Success Associate to support our Aerospace & Defense customer segment. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who is interested in building a career in customer success, program coordination, quoting, and order management within a high-technology manufacturing environment.

The Customer Success Associate supports the customer lifecycle from initial inquiry and quoting through order entry, production coordination, and final delivery. This role works closely with customers and internal teams including Engineering, Production, Planning, Sourcing, Quality, and Operations to ensure accurate information, timely communication, and smooth execution of customer requirements.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and interested in supporting customers in the Aerospace & Defense industry.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Aerospace & Defense segment team with customer information related to order status, expediting requests, shipping dates, pricing, product availability, and credit processing.
  • Assist with the customer lifecycle from RFP through product and service delivery.
  • Enter new customer orders into the ERP system and maintain existing customer orders with accuracy.
  • Monitor and coordinate customer correspondence, including verbal and written communications.
  • Communicate with customers as directed by senior members of the segment team.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Planning, Sourcing, and other internal departments to ensure customer orders progress efficiently through the production and fulfillment process.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to help ensure approved sourcing strategies meet customer requirements.
  • Assist with preparing cost estimates and price quotations for assigned assemblies and services.
  • Support the segment team in ensuring quotes are submitted, tracked, and processed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain customer and internal documentation and assist with document control and revisions.
  • Compile data, perform data entry, and create reports and business records using computer systems.
  • Develop the knowledge and independence needed to become a trusted customer-facing point of contact.
  • Travel to customer or vendor sites as required, typically up to once per quarter.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred; or an Associate's degree with demonstrated ability to independently perform the essential functions of the role.
  • High school diploma/GED with 1–2 years of relevant professional experience will also be considered.
  • No professional experience required for qualified degreed candidates.
  • Internal candidates may be considered based on demonstrated ability to independently perform the essential functions of the position in lieu of a related degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience or familiarity with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management concepts such as Kanban, safety stock, and other material control practices preferred.
  • Basic understanding of purchasing laws and commercial contracting requirements preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and communicate information to identify and resolve problems.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Competitive pay and great benefits—including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off
  • Be part of a company that's growing, changing, and full of new opportunities
  • A supportive, team-focused culture where your ideas matter
  • Meaningful work that impacts industries making a difference in the world
