JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Health Professions department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Nursing Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance.

Responsible for teaching a full range of Nursing coursework within our Health Careers Program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Master of Science degree in Nursing.

One year full-time clinical experience, registered as a professional nurse in Nebraska.

Current CPR certification.

Must comply with recommended immunizations and drug testing for clinical participation.

Compensation: $580 per Equivalent Credit Hours (ECH)

May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.

A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.

Hiring process includes passing a background check.
