We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Trauma-Informed Mental Health Counselor to join Rising Phoenix Counseling Services, LLC. Rising Phoenix Counseling Services, LLC, located in the serene landscape of Silverton, Oregon, is dedicated to offering specialized services to individuals who have faced various levels of trauma. This position operates in a remote setting, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. Counselors are supported with the necessary online tools and resources to provide top-notch care, including access to electronic health record software to record and manage client notes and HIPAA-compliant communication tools. Our outpatient office facility serves as a hub for team collaboration and clinical supervision, promoting a strong sense of community among counselors.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand clients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, including bi-weekly client meetings, and manage case terminations effectively.
• Assess safety concerns and implement crisis intervention strategies as appropriate to ensure client well-being.
• Document therapy notes in a timely manner while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals for consultations, supervision, and making referrals when necessary.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as EMDR and IFS in working with diverse populations including adults, adolescents, and families.

This role primarily focuses on supporting clients who have experienced trauma, PTSD, attachment issues, and related mental health challenges. Counselors will engage with a variety of demographics, including adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families, creating tailored interventions that address each client’s unique situation. • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon is preferred.
• Strong ability to build rapport with clients and maintain professional boundaries.
• Solid understanding of trauma-informed care principles and techniques.

• Experience working with trauma-informed methodologies, particularly EMDR and IFS.
• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plans.
• A background in community mental health settings or outpatient facilities is advantageous.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
