As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your focus will be on providing comprehensive support and care through the following responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to effectively evaluate clients' mental health concerns and craft tailored treatment plans.
• Create personalized treatment objectives that target specific challenges and goals unique to each client.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using industry-leading, evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, ensuring an integrated approach towards client care.
• Engage families by providing education and support, enhancing their involvement in the mental health recovery process.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records in strict adherence to regulatory and ethical standards, safeguarding client privacy.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents and adults facing a wide array of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. The goal is to offer culturally competent care so that all clients, regardless of their backgrounds, feel understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journeys.

The ideal candidate will hold the following qualifications:

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or equivalent Doctor of Psychology.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated specialized training or extensive experience in mental health counseling, ensuring a high standard of practice.
• A robust understanding of evidence-based practices for a variety of mental health disorders.
• Exceptional counseling skills that promote strong rapport with clients, motivating and guiding them through recovery.
• Effective communication and teamwork competencies, facilitating successful collaboration with colleagues.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in outpatient settings or specialized training in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be highly regarded. Familiarity with remote therapy tools and technology will be beneficial in enhancing service delivery.
