Contractor position: Clinical Counselor
Responsibilities:  
  • Provide effective evidence-based, trauma informed, individual, group and family therapy with a variety of clientele and age groups. 
  • Ensure clinical documentation is completed in a timely manner and in compliance with state and federal regulations. 
  • Ensure formulation and documentation of diagnoses is consistent with the clinical presentation of the client. 
  • Perform all aspects of client care in a way that improves client safety and addresses risk issues (clinical and environmental). 
  • Seek supervision when presented with high-risk situations. 
Qualifications: 
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field (M.A., M.S., MSW, MFT). License Preferred 
  • Registered with DORA. 
  • Successfully pass a full criminal background check. 
  • Valid driver's license with a good motor vehicle record, operating vehicle with valid insurance and registration. 
  • Sufficient language skills and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing. 
  • Basic computer skills and www skills. Proficient with Office 365, and type 25+ wpm; using electronic record systems. 
  • Demonstrate active listening, ethical conduct, complex problem solving, strong writing, clinical judgment, and decision-making skills. 
  • Experience working therapeutically with specified population (clients aged 5-99). 
  • Experience using various treatment modalities appropriate for specified population, utilizing strength-based and trauma informed therapeutic approaches. 
  • Experience working in a team environment. 
 
Pay: $30-40 per hour, DOE negotiable
