Job description

Champion Window is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Marketing & Events Department.  This person performs administrative and office support activities for the events and/or canvassing team.

Duties may include inbound and outbound telephone calls, word processing, data entry, creating spreadsheets and presentations, helping with trade show and event planning, creating or updating presentation software files, tracking budgets and expenses and filing. Extensive software skills and strong communication skills are required.

 Your specific duties as an Administrative Assistant will include: 

  • Booking events - this includes filling paperwork, coordinating payment, tracking costs and insuring all insurance and other requests are completed
  • Coordinating event kit needs - includes restocking supplies, ordering replacement items, and coordinating use of kits weekly.
  • Data Entry and integrity verification - Input all appointments and leads into system and verify that the information is accurate.
  • Coordinate Canvassing scheduling and needs - Assist in coordinating Canvassing team schedules and locations through tracking and communication with Canvassing Manager
  • Outbound and Inbound customer calls - outbound to confirm all appointments and to schedule appointments for both Canvassing and Event / Inbound calls from Canvassing team to arrange scheduling needs
  • Additional organizational and administrative needs as determined by the Events and Canvassing Department Supervisor. 

Specific qualifications for the Administrative Assistant position include: 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, while assisting with booth set up/tear down
  • Able to work standard retail hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Minimum of one year of administrative support experience
