Pay Rate: $20.00-22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00-2:30 pm

No weekends or holidays



Job Summary:

Personal Touch Food Service, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Cook to join team. The Cook is responsible for preparing meals  in a safe, clean, and efficient environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with planned menus and standardized recipes

Ensure all food is cooked and held at proper temperatures

Assist with food prep, portioning, and service during meal periods

Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness

Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisor of supply needs

Assist in receiving and storing deliveries properly

Comply with all federal, state, and local health regulations, as well as school and company policies

Maintain a clean and organized workstation

Work collaboratively with kitchen and cafeteria staff

Requirements

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

Must have a valid NYS drivers license

2-3 years of prior cooking experience is required

Ability to follow recipes, food safety procedures, and production schedules

Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 4-50 lbs.

Must pass all required background checks
