Position: Contract Administrator

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)

Length: 12 Month Contract


Job Description:

The Contract Administrator I is an entry-level role that works under direct supervision of a Contract Manager. This position supports the development, administration, and closeout of contracts and subcontracts for a range of products and services, from proposal development through product or service delivery and final contract closeout. The role is designed to build experience in proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer communication to support proper contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.


This position will also develop skills in interpreting terms and conditions, monitoring performance against contract requirements and obligations, and supporting internal and external stakeholders with contract-related information and reporting.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to support proper contract fulfillment.
  • Learn how to interpret contract terms and conditions and monitor performance against contract requirements and obligations.
  • Support the development of contractual letters, narratives for contract changes, and related contract documentation.
  • Assist with contract negotiations and the interpretation of order requirements and agreements.
  • Provide billing support, maintain assigned contract files, and track internal and external contractual obligations.
  • Review estimates of material, equipment, services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules for accuracy and completeness, as needed.
  • Become knowledgeable in the implementation and maintenance of Salesforce software, including data input, accuracy checks, and report generation as requested.
  • Respond to requests from business unit and senior management for information and reporting support.
  • Assist in aligning reporting for strategic analysis and direction.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Preferred field of study: Business Administration.
  • 1-3 years of industry experience required.
  • Entry-level functional experience required.
  • Entry-level management experience required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce required.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Project, and Access is highly desirable.
  • Must be a U.S. person.
  • Security clearance not required.
  • Training prerequisites within one year of assuming the position: ESD, Safety Training, and any additional training required by the Safety Department.
