About The Role
Every athlete should leave game night feeling like a pro. As an Athlete Highlight Specialist (AHS), you are responsible for capturing authentic, high-quality footage that fuels Brodie League's storytelling and social media presence. Your work extends the experience beyond the gym - allowing athletes to relive their best plays, share them with friends and family, and feel recognized for their performance. Every clip builds brand credibility, engagement, and long-term community growth. You turn moments into memories and memories into momentum for the league.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Capture
  • Film vertical (9:16) highlight content using your personal iPhone
  • Capture a minimum of 20 strong clips per hour throughout each game night
  • Prioritize key and emotional moments: clutch shots, celebrations, defensive stops, and the raw energy of competition
  • Rotate between courts to ensure balanced coverage across all active games

Content Distribution
  • Post highlights to the location's Instagram Story in real time during the event
  • Upload all organized footage to the designated Google Drive folder following each shift
  • Label and organize clips clearly for easy access by the broader Brodie team

Presence & Professionalism
  • Remain focused and fully attentive during live play
  • Engage with athletes in a way that makes them feel recognized and part of something bigger
  • Maintain a professional, energetic presence and represent the Brodie brand with pride at all times

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to on-site locations
  • Access to a personal iPhone capable of shooting high-quality vertical (9:16) video
  • Strong eye for athletic highlights and an instinct for compelling, shareable moments
  • Familiarity with Instagram Stories and comfort posting content in real time
  • Availability for evenings and weekends - game nights are non-negotiable
  • High energy, self-directed work ethic with the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Must operate as a self-employed individual and be responsible for own tax remittances and HST obligations
