Position Summary
United Water Restoration Group of South Florida is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Content Technician to join our mitigation team in Pompano Beach. The Content Technician is responsible for carefully packing, documenting, transporting, cleaning, storing, and restoring personal belongings affected by water, fire, mold, or other property damage.
The ideal candidate is organized, hardworking, compassionate, and able to work effectively in residential and commercial environments. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pack, label, inventory, and document contents from homes and businesses affected by water, fire, mold, or other disasters.
  • Carefully handle, move, clean, deodorize, and restore personal belongings and household items.
  • Load and unload contents, equipment, and materials from company vehicles.
  • Transport customer belongings to and from job sites, warehouses, cleaning facilities, and storage locations.
  • Photograph and document contents before, during, and after the restoration process.
  • Maintain accurate inventories and complete required paperwork using company procedures and technology.
  • Assist with contents cleaning, drying, deodorization, and restoration.
  • Organize and maintain contents in the warehouse or designated storage areas.
  • Protect unaffected areas of a property during the restoration process.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers throughout the project.
  • Explain the contents restoration process and respond to customer questions or concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Operate restoration equipment and hand tools safely and properly.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and industry standards.
  • Work closely with project managers, technicians, subcontractors, and office staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in content cleaning, restoration, moving, warehouse operations, construction, or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
