ardeg is currently recruiting for a Skilled Labourer to work with the Civida Kaskitew Asiski team on one of the buildings projects in Edmonton, AB!
 
The schedule for this position is 5 days on 2 days off; Monday to Friday. At this time, candidates that are local to Edmonton area will be considered.
 
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • General labour duties
  • Knowledge of basic building construction
  • Assisting with concrete formwork, stripping formwork, chipping of concrete
  • Dewatering
  • Site organization
  • Using various power tools (knowledge & experience with)
  • General site cleanup and housekeeping
  • Assisting with window installations
  • Assisting with other duties as required
Requirements:
 
  • CSTS/ WHMIS Certificates
  • Fall Protection considered an asset
  • Mobile Elevated Work Platform considered an asset
  • Window installations experience considered an asset
  • Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry
  • Capable of learning through on the job training
  • Reliable transportation to get to work
  • Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada
