Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites (Excavation Sites).
  • May operate hand and power tools of all types including cut off saws, mortar mixers, etc.
  • Clean and prepare sites
  • Dig trenches and grade stone
  • Set braces to support the sides of excavations
  • Shoot grade and install pipe to line and grade, cut in fittings for pipe
  • Set manholes and catch basins
  • Clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift 75 + pounds
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather and work in confined spaces such as manholes
  • Takes pride in getting job done safely and accurately
  • Must be self-motivated and work with supervisors and peers an various sewer and water line projects
  • CDL type A is preferred
  • Must have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability is a plus
  • Must successfully pass a drug test, as well as driver's license check, approval by our insurance carrier
