Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Flagger for a seasonal 40hr per week position. The Flagger will be responsible for directing traffic through construction zones and ensuring the safety of workers and motorists. The ideal candidate will have experience in traffic control and be able to work in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
• Direct traffic through construction zones using hand signals and/or flags
• Ensure the safety of workers and motorists by following established safety guidelines
• Communicate effectively with construction crews and motorists
• Set up and take down traffic control devices, such as cones and barricades
• Monitor traffic flow and adjust traffic control devices as needed
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in all weather conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow established safety guidelines
• Experience in traffic control preferred
Physical Demands:
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and move traffic control devices, such as cones and barricades
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
Work Environment:
