Job description

IOC Company a dynamic road and highway construction company is seeking a Project Engineer for our Rio Grande Valley Operation
The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting in the planning, estimating, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects.
The ideal candidate will be required to coordinate all contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications that include, but not limited to:
• On-Site Project Management
• Project Coordination & Project Controls
• Construction Billings, Cost tracking for sequential costing to include Job Cost Analysis
• Project Schedule Adherence
• Developing, managing & enforcing construction schedule
• Maintaining records and logs
• Communicating with vendors, subcontractors, and owners
• Completing RFQ and bid packages
• Developing and following a two week look ahead schedule
• Participating in subcontractor and owner meetings
• Preparation and delivery of close out and owner's manuals
Requirements :
• Must have a 4-year degree, or 5 years of related field experience preferred
• Poses a valid driver's license
• Have the ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a fast pace environment.
• Able to work beyond normal business hours when needed to including weekends.
• Poses superior communication and organizational development skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and mange cross-functional teams.
• Experience with: MS Office, Primavera Scheduling P6 and HCSS Heavy Job (preferred), triple business center, Trimble survey equipment, machine control, propeller- a PLUS
• Bilingual (English / Spanish)
