Job description

Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. It combines operations, strategy, design, and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities, generate brand enthusiasm, and educate consumers. It’s been over 75 years since we opened our doors, but we’re still not resting on our reputation or accolades. We’re wondering “what if...” anticipating what’s next and embracing our role within the Czarnowski Collective as forward-thinkers for forward-thinking brands.

Joining the Czarnowski Collective means the opportunity to be more than a number, more than a job title, more than a spectator. We are a collective of dreamers and thinkers, doers, and makers…and we’re searching for more of the same to join the ranks.

The Purpose:

We’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant for our Austell office! As a Warehouse Assistant, you'll play an important role in keeping projects moving by ensuring materials, exhibits, and event assets are accurately received, organized, prepared, and shipped. You'll spend your day working hands-on in a fast-paced warehouse environment, pulling inventory, loading and unloading trucks, operating warehouse equipment, and helping prepare materials for upcoming client events and trade shows. You'll work closely with warehouse leadership, logistics teams, and production staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and according to quality standards. Success in this role comes from being organized, dependable, safety-minded, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team and meet deadlines

The Job:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and inventory.
  • Pull, prepare, and stage materials for upcoming projects and shipments.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas to ensure efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Inspect exhibit properties, equipment, and materials for damage and report issues as needed.
  • Maintain asset identification, labeling, and tracking procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse, logistics, fabrication, and project teams to meet deadlines.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating standards.
  • Assist with general warehouse projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Support overtime, weekend work, and schedule flexibility as business needs require.

The Person:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, construction, manufacturing, or trade show experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and stand-up lifts.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use mobile devices or tablets for inventory tracking.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, depending on operational needs.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company's 401(k) plan.

What we offer:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits effective within 30 days (or less) of your full-time status.
  • 401K matching with no vesting period (you are fully vested as of day 1)
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Paid Holidays
  • Collaborative Work Environment

Collective Culture Core Values:

We recognize that the success of our business rests with the skills and efforts of our people, and in return for their contributions, our employees can expect a flexible work environment that delivers on the 10 principles that define our company culture:

  • We celebrate creativity, curiosity, innovation and imagination.
  • We are humble and respectful.
  • We act with honesty and integrity.
  • We empower and trust one another.
  • We embrace individuality and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • We champion initiatives that bolster diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • We prioritize safe, ethical and sustainable business practices.
  • We foster a culture of meritocracy - rewarding skills and abilities, instead of influence.
  • We always deliver.
  • We don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Through several existing and future initiatives, Czarnowski Collective is exploring thoughtful and creative ways to embrace individuality, and more effectively champion diversity, equity and inclusion across our network.
