JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Operator - Weekend AM Shift

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, independently perform applications while actively supporting all daily production line operations, including masking, hanging, palletizing, and staging. Maintain equipment, documentation, and production flow in accordance with quality standards.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES:

Essential

  • Read and interpret customer blueprints to properly mask and plug customer identified features
  • Properly use diagnostic equipment to verify quality
  • Remove masking and plugs of production parts exiting the cure oven
  • Hang and remove production parts from production line
  • Inspect products for quality and ensure they meet specifications
  • Manage inventory and other supplies
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Execute routine housekeeping to maintain a clean and debris free department
  • Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with supervisor, lead, and co-workers
  • Willing to work overtime when needed
  • Maintain the responsibilities of the ISO 9001 system in accordance with the requirements defined in the Quality Manual, and Procedure Level documentation
  • Participate actively and positively in Lean activities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

Sit 25%, Stand 25%, Walk 15%, Bend 8%, Squat 8%, Lift 10%, Twist 4%, Kneel 1%, Reach Above Shoulder 1%, Climb 1%, Drive 1%, Push/Pull 1%.

Maximum (minutes): Sit 90, Stand 90, Walk 15, Bend 30, Squat 30, Lift 30, Twist 20, Kneel 5, Reach Above Shoulder 15, Climb 5, Drive 5, Push/Pull 15.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must have normal vision (with or without corrective lenses) and hearing (with or without corrective hearing aids).

Working Environment: Production environment; Industrial ovens and miscellaneous heating equipment running continuously. High noise level exceeding 85 Db in some areas. Exposure to dusty powder, heat with no air conditioning, and cold.

This position will require drug testing per company policy.
