JOB TITLE: SHIPPING & Receiving Clerk - Weekend

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Count, Package, Process, and Deliver products of Future Form Manufacturing in a positive, professional, and timely manner, with an emphasis on internal and external customer service.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES:

Essential
  • Verify shipment against the order
  • Pack orders to customer specifications and Future Forms internal packaging guidelines, verifying quality and quantity of all parts.
  • Use of Future Form Manufacturingโ€™s internal computer system for both shipping and receiving
  • Ensure and record accurate counts on all parts before shipment.
  • Address shipments accurately as directed.
  • Understanding of inventory control process.
  • Operate forklifts and reach truck safely and effectively.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers and vendors
  • Pick up and deliver customer orders
  • Load trucks, making sure load is safely secured
  • Load items in order of scheduled delivery
  • Obtain signed delivery receipt with printed name clear and legible.
  • Inspect vehicles per truck checklist.
  • Report any mechanical problems to Shipping/Receiving Lead
  • Follow all OSHA safety regulations and those set by Future Form.
  • Employees shall not engage in smoking in company vehicles.
  • Employees shall not have passengers other than employees of Future Form.
  • Maintain the responsibilities of the ISO 9001 system in accordance with the requirements defined in the Quality Manual, and Procedure Level documentation
  • Contribute to drive Lean activities per company guidelines.
  • Safe and effective operation of all company vehicles
  • All other duties as assigned
  • 5-S maintenance in all Shipping areas
  • Assist with other assembly projects as needed

WORKS WITH: Customers, Suppliers, Future Form team members

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

Follow all OSHA safety regulations and those set by Future Form Manufacturing.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

Essential

  • Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing facility environment
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Minimum one year driving experience
  • Nevada driverโ€™s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to drive a truck with manual transmission
  • Must be able to pass D.O.T. physical
  • Certified on forklift and standard reach truck
  • Ability to accurately record information
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Able to follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • Basic math ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
  • Manual dexterity

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

Will require you to Sit, Stand, Walk, Bend, Squat, Lift, Twist, Kneel, Reach Above Shoulder, Climb, Drive, Push/Pull throughout the workday.


Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must have normal vision (with or without corrective lenses) and hearing (with or without corrective hearing aids).


Working Environment: Shop and outdoors environments. Moderate noise level. Exposure to dust, heat and cold.


This position will require drug testing per company policy.


Friday through Sunday 5am to 5:30pm
