Overview
WHAT WE PROVIDE:
This is an Entertainment Team Member position at Six Flags Over Texas, in Arlington, TX. It features a competitive hourly rate with perks such as: free entry to any Six Flags Park for all employees and a guest with each visit, additional complimentary tickets for friends and family, and a merchandise discount.
Responsibilities
DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Entertain guests and provide a one-of-a-kind experience in the park.
• Perform as the DC Character, The Joker.
• Be able to perform for guests of all ages and backgrounds.
• Entertain park guests in a fun and professional manner while ensuring that all guests have a positive and memorable experience.
• Every Character Actor will be leveraged for the ability to perform with the character standards set forth by DC Comics.
• Perform at onsite, as well as potential off-site locations and promotional events representing Six Flags.
• Comply with all company guidelines as listed in the Employee Handbook and departmental guidelines as listed in the Entertainment Handbook.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must meet standards (height/build/look) as set forth by DC Comics.
• Must be able to work well as a team and conduct yourself in a professional manner.
-Must wear required make-up and wig.
• Must have strong improvisational acting abilities.
• Must be able to actively engage and interact with guests, as well as with other cast members.
• Prior experience in public performance/acting preferred.
• Prior guest service/customer relations/public speaking experience preferred.
• Must be able to handle character, costumes, and props with care, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, twist, sit, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to work in hot summer outdoor weather conditions while in costume.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings, & holidays.
