Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technician in Weston, FL. 13-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital. ARRT (R), ACLS & BLS required. Competitive weekly pay $2,150–$2,310. Join a collaborative interventional cardiology team in South Florida.

Assignment Details

• Assignment Type: Travel (13 weeks)
• Location: Weston, FL 33331 (Broward County, South Florida)
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab – Short Term Acute Care Hospital
• Start / End Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026
• Shift: 4 x 10-hour days (07:00 – 17:30); 40 hours/week (guaranteed)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 – $2,310
• Charting / EMR: EPIC
• Float: May float to sister facilities within 20 miles
• On-Call / Weekend Coverage: Required / To be discussed with manager

Required Qualifications – Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Technologist

• Minimum 18 months recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience (2 years preferred) — experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures
• ARRT (R) certification required
• RCVT and/or RCIS preferred (Cardiovascular Technologist certifications)
• Current AHA ACLS and BLS required
• Nicotine-free (negative cotinine screen required)
• References from two direct supervisors/managers
• Ability to complete time-sensitive onboarding modules prior to start (EKG & Pharm tests during orientation; 2 attempts max)
• Ability to float to nearby sister facilities as needed; participate in on-call rotation

Key Responsibilities – Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

• Perform scrub technologist duties: sterile setup, equipment prep, instrument handling for interventional cardiology procedures
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, stent placements, and closure device deployments
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized cath lab equipment and imaging systems
• Recognize and promptly respond to life-threatening arrhythmias; interpret dysrhythmias
• Provide safe, compassionate patient care for adults and older adults in a fast-paced cath lab environment
• Adhere to facility policies including nicotine-free requirements and timely completion of onboarding
