Job Summary
Serves as the lead instructor for the middle color guard program, responsible for teaching flag, dance, and performance techniques while developing students' skills, confidence, and teamwork. Plans and conducts practices, choreographs routines, prepares students for performances and competitions, and promotes a positive, inclusive environment that supports student growth, discipline, and school spirit. Collaborates with school staff to ensure successful performances and program development. Primarily responsible for direct student instruction, following guidance from the VAPA teacher or director, with some autonomy in instructional adjustments. Applicant must be prepared to possibly work evenings and/ or weekends.
