Job Description
Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty: Interventional Radiology

Hours per Shift: 10 hours
Experience: 3-4 years required
License: Compact or applicable state license required upon submission
Certifications: BLS, ARRT R required; ARRT VI and ACLS preferred
Must-Have:
- 3-4 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
- Required to participate in an emergency response team when assigned
- Comfortable with self-scheduling of call shifts
- Ability to work weekends as part of call requirements
Description:
The role involves working four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday.
Techs will self-schedule call shifts after the daily schedule is finalized.
All techs will be required to schedule at least one weekend of call each month, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
As part of the call requirements, this includes 10 shifts per month, with a maximum of three weekend shifts.
A long weekend off, typically a Friday or Monday, will be granted once a month without needing to request time off.
This position entails various responsibilities including but not limited to:
3D imaging, Angiography procedures, Embolization, Dialysis graft interventions, and Central Venous Access.
Candidates should possess skills in Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and be familiar with Siemens and Philips equipment.
The role requires adherence to sterile technique and proper patient care protocols.
Candidates should have experience with adult patient populations and a good understanding of interdisciplinary support services.
Participation in emergency situations as directed may be required.
This position is not suitable for first-time travelers.
Candidates will be evaluated based on their qualifications and readiness to fulfill the role's expectations.
