Job description

JENNMAR Services, is currently seeking a Field Observation and Maintenance Contractor for the Marshall, Wetzel and Marion Counties in West Virginia. This is a full-time positions with competitive salary and benefits available.
Job Responsibilities of Field Observation and Maintenance Contractor:
  • Receives and follows daily shift instructions from on-call Supervisor
    • Responds quickly to emergency observation and maintenance requests
  • Physically observes the daily operations and monitors digital communication threads for:
    • Water transfer
    • Water hauling
    • Sand hauling
    • Traffic control
  • Troubleshoots contractor-owned water equipment
    • Gathering pumps
    • Centralized water facilities
    • Booster pumps and water withdrawals
  • Reporting
    • Reports all spills, accidents, and injuries immediately
    • Reports all incidents and operational concerns immediately
    • Delivers written shift summary notes once a day

Schedule of Field Observation and Maintenance Contractor :
  • Night shift only (6 pm to 6 am)
  • 7 days per week in field, including weekends and holidays

Compensation of Field Observation and Maintenance Contractor:
  • $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

Job Requirements of Field Observation and Maintenance Contractor:
  • Compliant with all PPE and safety training requirements
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check, drug & alcohol test required
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner in keeping with the Company's strong commitment to employee safety
  • Utilize software programs to prepare reports, e-mails, correspondence, etc.
  • Ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences, and the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work
  • Ability to efficiently communicate with business partners, supervisors/managers, peers, or subordinates in verbal or written form
  • Effective and efficient problem solving of any issues in a timely manner as necessary
  • Self motivated
