Articulated Haul Truck Operator (ADT) – Landfill, Grading & Coal Ash (CCR)

CBP Environmental is seeking an experienced Articulated Haul Truck Operator (ADT Operator) to safely operate 40-ton articulated dump trucks on landfill, mass grading, and coal ash (CCR) projects. This role involves hauling material in active landfill cells, coal ash containment areas, and heavy earthmoving environments, while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and site conditions.

Operators must maintain control and stability of haul trucks on uneven terrain, slopes, soft ground, and haul roads, including work in coal ash environments requiring dust control, PPE compliance, and heightened situational awareness. Responsibilities include performing daily pre-operational inspections, monitoring ground conditions for stability, maintaining proper haul road usage, and coordinating with equipment operators and site personnel.


Requirements:
  • 1+ years’ experience in Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Operations (i.e. excavators, dozers, articulated trucks, etc.), or the equivalent in training.
  • Knowledge of safe & productive operation of heavy equipment.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol and medical/physical capability requirements.
  • Successful criminal background screen may be required.
  • Ability to be a team leader in all safety aspects of the position.
  • Position will require travel and possible weekend work.
  • Must be willing to work over-time.

Required Education: High School or equivalent.
