Position Summary


StenTech is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician responsible for supporting daily operation of production equipment and facility infrastructure. This role is critical to maintaining uptime, ensuring safe and reliable operation of our etching, laser, CNC, and supporting manufacturing processes.


The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility systems), and thrives in a fast-paced, precision manufacturing environment.


This is a working role focused on prevention first, rapid response second, and continuous improvement always.

Requirements:


Equipment Reliability & Uptime

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment including:
  • Laser systems
  • Photo-etch processing equipment (chemical lines, rinse systems, dryers)
  • Material handling and finishing equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related issues
  • Support rapid response to equipment downtime to minimize production disruption
  • Coordinate external service providers when specialized support is required
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment as needed to support maintenance, facility, and operational requirements in a safe and compliant manner.


Facility Maintenance

  • Maintain building infrastructure including HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, electrical distribution, and general facility systems
  • Support chemical handling systems, pumps, filtration, and waste management infrastructure
  • Manage basic repairs related to plumbing, lighting, and building upkeep.


Preventative Maintenance Program

  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules
  • Maintain maintenance logs, documentation, and spare parts inventory
  • Identify recurring issues and drive root-cause corrective actions
  • Recommend equipment improvements or upgrades to improve reliability


Safety & Compliance

  • Support safe operation of equipment and adherence to OSHA and environmental requirements
  • Assist with chemical handling protocols and facility safety audits
  • Ensure lockout/tagout and safety procedures are followed during maintenance activities


Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with operations leadership to improve equipment performance and process flow
  • Support installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment
  • Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, maintenance cost, and operational risk


Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–7+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience with CNC, lasers, or chemical processing equipment is a plus
  • Ability to read basic electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics
  • Comfortable working independently and prioritizing workload based on production needs
  • Forklift and basic rigging experience preferred
